I am Vijaykrishna (aka V2K), the author of this site.
I created this blog with two primary goals.
I aim to expand my data science knowledge by experimenting and writing about exciting use cases.
To exchange thoughts and experiences with a broader audience.
Combining technical expertise with business knowledge of use cases and real-world problems is vital to successfully implementing a data science project. However, many organizations still struggle to identify and implement real-world use cases.

Why V2K? Many years ago, I started using V2K as a short form for my full name, VijayKrishna Venkataraman (2-V’s and 1-K). It stuck, and I have used it everywhere ever since!
I build data-oriented solutions using open-source tools like KNIME, R, Python, and SQL.
In August 2020, KNIME honored me with the “Contributor of the Month - Hall of Fame” award.
